Last year, I told George B. Thomas his Superhuman Framework was dead on arrival.
Last year, I told George B. Thomas his Superhuman Framework was dead on arrival.
Not because there’s anything wrong with it. The four cornerstones—Love, Purpose, Passion, Persistence—combined with the 10 H-pillars create a powerful vision for human-centered business.
After interviewing him over the course of a few months, I was bought in. Others were too.
The problem? Too many brilliant frameworks hit the wall of industrial-age structures.
KPIs driving extraction over relationship building. Compensation plans rewarding quarterly wins over long-term partnership. Systems that make common-sense, human-centered decisions literally impossible.
Leaders nod enthusiastically at these frameworks, then return to structures that prevent implementation.
So instead of creating another “here’s what you should do” framework, I started working with Claude AI on a different question:
Can we get crystal clear on what is truly trapping these organizations and leaders in industrial-age thinking?
What if we mapped the traps preventing human-centered transformation?
What if we showed leaders exactly where industrial-age thinking is encoded in their systems—and provided escape routes to break free?
That became the Value-First Framework. Value-First Humans is one of its pillars.
And you know there is only one person I’m gonna turn to for content with “Humans” in the title. 😃
Today at 3PM CT, George and I launch Value-First Humans—a LinkedIn Live series exploring how these frameworks work together:
Episode 1: “The Superhuman Foundation” tells this origin story and introduces the seven Value-First Humans commitments that address specific barriers preventing what George’s framework promises.

This isn’t about choosing frameworks. It’s about understanding why transformation keeps failing—and what to do about it.
