Engagement door
Partnership - Embedded Engineering
Everything coaching does, plus we take on part of the work ourselves. Your team still owns it; we are in it with them, each day, week after week.
The facts
- What it costs
- From $9,995/mo. Billed monthly.
- The shape of the time
- A roadmap we lead together, plus whatever comes up that day. Coaching is inside it. Work reaches us however your team already works: in Slack, Teams or Compass, in a ticket, or on the weekly call. At the end of each week we look back together at what got built and who got onboarded.
- What we commit to
- Three months to start, then month to month. After that, either side ends it with 30 days notice.
A standing team, not a project
Projects start, ship, and end. Partnerships compound. The building is the easier part now; knowing what to build and why, and getting your people working with it, is where the value is.
A standing team, in the work with you
Instead of: a project scoped, delivered and handed over.
Ready when the request comes
Instead of: a change order and a wait.
Your team owns what gets built
Instead of: a system only the builders understand.
Coaching inside the build
Instead of: a build with a training session at the end.
How the partnership works
The shape of the time: A roadmap we lead together, plus whatever comes up that day. Coaching is inside it. Work reaches us however your team already works: in Slack, Teams or Compass, in a ticket, or on the weekly call. At the end of each week we look back together at what got built and who got onboarded.
The rules of the road, agreed up front
The scope isn't fixed, so the container is: what we carry, how requests reach us, and how we look back. It's set in the partnership agreement.
AI carries the complexity, people carry the judgment
The AI does the prep, the synthesis, the reconciliation. People do the relationship work, the strategy calls, the judgment. The math changes when AI is the partner, not the headcount.
Designed for graduation, not retention
The partnership exists to compound your team's capability — not to make us indispensable. Empowerment over Learned Helplessness governs the structure. When you can run it without us, we celebrate. We don't sell consulting that requires consultants.
Is it for me?
Who it's for
- A leader whose team wants to go faster than its own capabilities and bandwidth allow, or has build work it cannot cover. They want Value-First carrying part of it alongside their people, and they are paying for a standing team, not for hours or a project.
Who it's not for
- You’re looking for a strategy document to present to leadership for buy-in. The engagement produces a working system, not a business case for a future system.
- You need the work reviewed by a committee that wasn’t in the sessions. The people who build it are the people who own it — that’s how capability transfers.
- You want a vendor to build something and hand it to you. We build with your team, not for your team in isolation.
- You’re optimizing a model you believe still works. If the ceiling feels fine, this isn’t the right moment — and we’ll tell you that directly.
- You want the fastest path to a result. This is thorough diagnostic and build work; it’s not a shortcut to an output.
- The executive sponsor isn’t available to be in the work. Without that authority present, what gets built can’t be implemented.
- You want a scoped project delivered and handed over. Partnership is ongoing; a scoped project is a conversation, not this door.
Common questions
How is this different from coaching?
Everything coaching does, plus we take on part of the work ourselves. Your team still owns it; we are in it with them, each day, week after week. If your team has the hands and wants the skill, AI-Native Coaching, weekly is the lighter door.
Who does the building?
Our builders work alongside your people, and the coaching stays inside the work. Your team still owns what gets built.
Is there a fixed scope?
No. What's agreed is the shape, not a scope. The investment is set by the partnership agreement, by how much of the build we carry and/or how many humans we are working with.
How long does it last?
Three months to start, then month to month. After that, either side ends it with 30 days notice. It's built so your team needs us less over time.
Start with a conversation.
A first conversation to work out which doorway fits where you actually are. It ends with something to act on, at least content to read or watch.
